SOUTH DWNTN
ATLANTA
OUR STORY Continues

Be a part of the next chapter.

South Broad Street residential revival

South Broad Street will soon be home to 650 new neighbors and more than a dozen new retail and restaurant tenants.

Set to deliver in 2025, this is a huge step forward for Newport and this chapter of South Downtown.

A BOLD REIntroduction

Just past the city's Gold Dome where Mitchell and Broad streets meet, you'll find it: Atlanta's largest collection of historic commercial buildings being reimagined and rebuilt to become a walkable, livable, inclusive and connected neighborhood. A neighborhood that will preserve our roots and prioritize our culture. South Downtown is beginning a new chapter, and we invite you to be a part of the story.

Walkable

Walkable

Our streets are made for walking. Surrounded by trees and reimagined public spaces, we're creating new experiences with the pedestrian in mind.

Livable

Livable

True urban living with daily needs layered among bold diversions and generations of historic architecture.

Inclusive

Inclusive

A community stitched together by the art, culture and ideas of all. An unrefined landscape of possibilities where everyone is invited to make a mark.

Connected

Connected

North, South, East and West all meet here. Whether you’re going or coming, you’ll find your way.

WHO WE ARE is who we've been

The story of Atlanta began in South Downtown. Here, the city’s first blocks built the foundation for a thriving city and a connecting point of rail lines birthed the beating heart of the American South. This past is woven into our future.

IT WAS All Beauty

Standing at the corner of Mitchell and Broad streets in South Downtown, Olaf Kunkat found empty blocks and forgotten brick-and-stone storefronts — but he saw more. He saw a neighborhood with so many intangible positives that just needed commitment and vision. There was culture, history, grit and the promise of opportunity. With this realization, our team is ready to help all of Atlanta see it, too.
